original Globe Theatre where Shakespeare wrote and
performed those classic playes that we love and adore
to this very day..."

"I'm standing in front of the Anchor Pub. Now, this is a few
hundred metres away from the Globe Theatre we showed
you earlier. There was no changing facilities in the Globe
Theatre for the actors. They in fact used to come here to
this pub, get changed upstairs and they made their way
back round to the theatre to perform. Good old English pub,
if you're ever in town for a pint of beer."

territory, right by the Clink Museum, which was the old
Clink prison. In English we have a slang word for "going
in the clink" which means going to prison, it comes from
this place. This is the Clink, where they used to send
them naughty people."
